GROUP OF
SUPPORT FOR
WOMEN
AFFECTED
BY
Floods
After the flood, many things needed to be rebuilt. The houses. The routines. The jobs. The relationships. And, often, hope itself.
It was with this in mind that the Coletivo Abrigo created Raízes que Cuidam (Roots that Care): a support group aimed at women affected by floods, with spaces for listening, welcoming, empowerment, and sharing experiences.
These will be supportive and welcoming discussion groups, as well as legal guidance and financial literacy sessions.
